Sending You Sunshine

Hello friends, its time for a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero blog and theme this time is "New"...

And here is my card for the challenge...
I played with a new stamp set from Hero Arts called "Color Layering Hibiscus" . I stamped the layers with distress inks from light to dark onto Tim Holtz water coloring paper. I softened each layer of the stamped image with water to create a faux water coloring effect. Once everything was dry I black heat embossed the sentiment and splattered some pink inks and finally added lots of sequins..
Here is close up, I really love how this card turned out..
Hope you liked my card too..
Thanks for stopping by!!

For A Prrrrrretty Great Friend

Hello crafty friends!! I have a card for you today using Gerda Steiner Designs "Playful Kitties" stamp set..
I did some paper-piecing today and I love how this turned out, it looks kinda real blanket!!
First I stamped the image onto Neenah solar white cardstock and then colored using copics. Then I paper pieced the blanket using design paper from Simple Stories.
I stamped the hearts few times, colored them using copics, fuzzy cut them out and adhered them to the card.
Here is a close up..
Hope you liked my card.. You can check all the stamp set here in the shop..

I printed the Cool Flamingo on Neenah solar white cardstock. The background is from an old MME design paper. I handmade the blue wave pattern for the flamingo to stand on. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn which is white embossed on black cardstock and finally added some rhinestones.
