Happy Halloween

Hello friends, I have a Halloween card to share with you all today!!

I played with this cute MFT Birdie Brown set called "Frightfully Sweet". I think I used all the images that comes in the set, I stamped them all using tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. The images are then cut out using scissor.

I also wanted to try and make this huge glowing moon night sky, I used my oxide inks to make the night sky. I splattered some plain water first and let it dry, then I splattered some white and silver paint from Gansai Tambi watercolors. Once dry I stamped some stars from MFT "Happy Haunting" set with Alabaster surface ink (from Brutus Monroe).

I used an adhesive sheet for masking the moon and when I removed the adhesive sheet it left a layer of adhesive on my card panel. I thought adhesive sheets and masking sheets are the same that's why I used adhesive sheet for masking and I was like, oh no!!!! now what!!!
Light bulb moment, I grabbed my white and silver fine glitters and sprinkled all over it to make a shinny glittery moon (How I love happy accidents).

The spooky tree is a die from Clearly Besotted called "Love Blossom", the "Grass border" die is from Lawn Fawn and the Bats die are from Top Dog Dies.
The sentiment HAPPY is from MFT "Super Boy" set and HALLOWEEN from the same "Frightfully Sweet" set, which is heat embossed using WOW white embossing powder.
I adhered everything on the card panel and then I added lots of white highlights with my white gel pen.

Love all the cuties and love how this card turned out, very rarely happy accidents like this happen to me 😄
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Haunting

Hello friends, I have a last card for Top Dog Dies, to share with you.

I got to play with the new Haunted House Die Set and this is my favorite card of all really had fun making this card.

I started with sponging a white piece of cardstock using some distress inks (spiced marmalade, fired brick, seedless preserve and faded jeans); for the moon I masked the area with a circle die-cut piece of paper before adding any colors. Then I die-cut all the pieces out of black cardstock, and the piece behind the house is die-cut out of yellow cardstock (all the cardstocks are from recollections). I glued the hill, fence and bats directly to the panel and the haunted house and tombs are adhered using foam squares.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. Here is a close up:

Thank You so much for the opportunity!!! I really really enjoyed playing with the new Fall/Halloween dies, it was such a pleasure guest designing!! :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
