Central Park Zoo

Hello friends,
Super excited to share this card with you!! I so badly wanted to play with the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge and I had so many ideas coming to my mind but nothing was working out and finally thought not to stress about it and wait for the next challenge. But suddenly this idea of creating a scene from the movie Madagascar came to my mind and I searched the internet for some ideas and atlast decided to recreate this movie poster...

Image result for madagascar movie

I had a blast creating this card..
The stamps I used from Lawn Fawn are: Critters On the Savanna, Here We Go A-Waddling, Wild For You.
I colored everything using copics and Prismas.

The brick wall stencil is from MFT: English Brick Wall, the Cityscape die is from Clearly Besotted and the grass border die is from Lawn Fawn.
Everything is ink blended from various inks, I splattered some white acrylic ink for the sky.
I used the smallest circle form WRMK Circle nesting die for the moon.
The Central Park Zoo board is made on Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Square Window Add-on.

I added lots of details with my sharpie and white signo gel pen.
The moon glow is made by sponging Alabaster ink around the moon.

Thanks a lot for stopping by!!
Have a great day!!!

You're Incredible!!

Hello friends,
I colored these cuties during #thedailymarkerchallenge and wanted to turn it into a card soon.
These cute girls are from the set called "Super Duper" from Sunny Studio Stamps, I stamped all the images on Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock and colored everything using copics and cut it out with scissor.

I took a watercolor cardstock panel and used Gansai Tambi watercolors to create the background then with the help of MFT Radiating Rays stencil I created the rays coming from behind the cityscape which is from Clearly Besotted.
I lightly traced were the colored panel would lie on my card base and stamped the sentiment using black ink.
The panel is then adhered directly to the card base and for some dimension I added the girls using foam squares.

Hope you like my card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Happy Halloween

Hello friends, I have a Halloween card to share with you all today!!

I played with this cute MFT Birdie Brown set called "Frightfully Sweet". I think I used all the images that comes in the set, I stamped them all using tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. The images are then cut out using scissor.

I also wanted to try and make this huge glowing moon night sky, I used my oxide inks to make the night sky. I splattered some plain water first and let it dry, then I splattered some white and silver paint from Gansai Tambi watercolors. Once dry I stamped some stars from MFT "Happy Haunting" set with Alabaster surface ink (from Brutus Monroe).

I used an adhesive sheet for masking the moon and when I removed the adhesive sheet it left a layer of adhesive on my card panel. I thought adhesive sheets and masking sheets are the same that's why I used adhesive sheet for masking and I was like, oh no!!!! now what!!!
Light bulb moment, I grabbed my white and silver fine glitters and sprinkled all over it to make a shinny glittery moon (How I love happy accidents).

The spooky tree is a die from Clearly Besotted called "Love Blossom", the "Grass border" die is from Lawn Fawn and the Bats die are from Top Dog Dies.
The sentiment HAPPY is from MFT "Super Boy" set and HALLOWEEN from the same "Frightfully Sweet" set, which is heat embossed using WOW white embossing powder.
I adhered everything on the card panel and then I added lots of white highlights with my white gel pen.

Love all the cuties and love how this card turned out, very rarely happy accidents like this happen to me 😄
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Birthday Cards!!!!

Hello crafty friends, how have you been!!!

I have been MIA from my blog for quite a while but if you follow me on Instagram (chitra01) you can see all my work there where I share all my cards and coloring fun… regularly… J

Kkk…. So I wanted to share few cards which I recently made…

Card 1:
I have used this cute little girl from MFT stamps ‘Green Pastures’; I colored her with my Copics and cut her out using my scissor. For the card background I used a stencil from Hero Arts called ‘Scales’ and distress inks. I stamped the sentiment directly on the front of the card base using black memento ink and then the image is adhered using some foam squares.

Card 2:

This card layout is similar o the first card. The image is from MFT stamps ‘Super Boy’; I colored him with my Copics and cut out using my scissor. For the card background I used a stencil from MFT called ‘English Brick’ and ‘Burnt Orange’ ink from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the sentiment directly on the front of the card base using black memento ink and then the image is adhered using some foam squares.

Card 3:
These cute little monsters are from Clearly Besotted ‘Out of this world’; I colored them up using my Prisma color pencils and cut them out using scissor. Then I stamped the huge planet image directly on front of my card and colored that too with my Prismas, then masked it and splattered some black watercolor for the galaxy look. Once the splatters was dry, I stamped the sentiment on front of the card base using black memento ink and finally adhered all the monsters using foam squares, I also added some finishing touches to all the monsters and the planet using black and white gel pen.

Card 4:
Again played with my MFT stamps this time ‘Llama Love’; all the images are colored using Prismas and cut with scissor, here I have very loosely followed this week’s MFT sketch challenge. The kraft panel is die-cut out using Top Dog dies, and then flesh adhered to the card base. The sentiment is white heat embossed on a black cardstock using WOW white embossing powder and adhered using foam squares and then I adhered all the images as well using foam squares. Finally added few heart die-cuts from Simon Says Stamp ‘Holiday Shapes’ die and added little glitter on top of it.

Hope you liked all my cards, I will be back tomorrow with more card...
Thanks a ton for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Out of this world birthday!!

Hello crafty friends... I have a fun card to share with you all today!!

Super happy with how this card turned out, I wanted the monsters to be in the outer space with a beautiful green n yellow nebula behind them.. the only thing changed in the final result is the green monster flying in the space, I think he lost his grip and you can see that in his expression :D :p

trick or treat

Hello friends,
I colored up another two cute monsters from the Simon Says Stamp "Monster Hugs" set (You can check the first card here).

First I stamped (2nd generation stamping with black ink) both the monsters onto Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock; then I hand drew the pumpkin basket, bunny ears and eye lashes using pencils; colored the monsters using Copics. Then took recollections 100lb white panel and colored the panel using distress ink and foam blender. Then die-cut all the elements from recollections 80lb black cardstock; dies are from Lawn Fawn, Clearly Besotted, and Top Dog Dies; adhered everything directly to the colored panel and used foam squares to adhere the monsters. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Trick or Treat" set. I added glossy accents to the monster's eyes and glitter to the basket, heart, stars and bats.
Here is a close up..

Hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by!!
