Happy Halloween

Hello friends, I have a Halloween card to share with you all today!!

I played with this cute MFT Birdie Brown set called "Frightfully Sweet". I think I used all the images that comes in the set, I stamped them all using tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. The images are then cut out using scissor.

I also wanted to try and make this huge glowing moon night sky, I used my oxide inks to make the night sky. I splattered some plain water first and let it dry, then I splattered some white and silver paint from Gansai Tambi watercolors. Once dry I stamped some stars from MFT "Happy Haunting" set with Alabaster surface ink (from Brutus Monroe).

I used an adhesive sheet for masking the moon and when I removed the adhesive sheet it left a layer of adhesive on my card panel. I thought adhesive sheets and masking sheets are the same that's why I used adhesive sheet for masking and I was like, oh no!!!! now what!!!
Light bulb moment, I grabbed my white and silver fine glitters and sprinkled all over it to make a shinny glittery moon (How I love happy accidents).

The spooky tree is a die from Clearly Besotted called "Love Blossom", the "Grass border" die is from Lawn Fawn and the Bats die are from Top Dog Dies.
The sentiment HAPPY is from MFT "Super Boy" set and HALLOWEEN from the same "Frightfully Sweet" set, which is heat embossed using WOW white embossing powder.
I adhered everything on the card panel and then I added lots of white highlights with my white gel pen.

Love all the cuties and love how this card turned out, very rarely happy accidents like this happen to me 😄
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Merry Christmas

Hello friends, I am back with my last card for the MFT card deisgn superstar 2019 contest for Innovative Master category...

This is going to be a super photo heavy blog post because I want to show you guys this card from all possible angles.

I have used a few MFT Birdie Brown  stamps, "Polar Bear Pals", "Beast Friends" and "Ready Set Snow". All these images are colored using Copics after stamping it with Tuxedo black ink on Crafters Compaion ultra smooth white cardstock, then I cut out all the images using scissor.

The little mountains behind the pop-up snow mountain is a die-cut from "Mountain High" die-namics. The two mountains for the pop-up part is hand cut and the whole pop-up mechanism is handmade since I don't have a die for the same.

For the snowy sky background I used Distress inks in Black Soot, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and Antique Linen. Once I blended the background, I splattered some white acrylic ink for the snow and let it dry before adhering it to the card base.

The floating card base is created by following Rachel Alvarado's tutorial, she has mentioned all the details n her blog. I adhered the floating card base and before that I marked and cut a hole for the L-shaped tabs and then I adhered the pop-up part of the card. I added shadows below all the images with my copics.

It was so relaxing to create the whole scene and to see the card come to life.

Look at all the cute houses and all those trees..

There is even houses and trees behind the big bear.

The card front is pretty simple, I used one of the skating Polar bear from "Polar Bear Pals" stamp set (love the cute expression on his face). I did some ink blending on a white card panel using the same colors that used for the inside of the card, splattered some white acrylic paint for snowy effect. Once dry I adhered the cute bear directly to the panel and the sentiment is a Merry Christmas die-namics.

Here is another look at the whole card and love all the dimension.
It was fun creating this card, I hope you too enjoyed it!!
Thanks for stopping by and  have a great day!!

Wishing You A Harvest Of Blessing

Hello friends, I have another card to share today and this one is for the MFT card design superstar 2019 contest for Coloring Virtuoso Category.

I played with few MFT  Birdie Brown Stamps, did lots of masking and lots and lots of Copic coloring. The stamps that I have used are "Happy Hedgehogs", "Squirrels" and "Happy Harvest".

I stamped the images on Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock, did some masking to create the scene. I used Memento Tuxedo black ink to stamp the images and used copics for coloring and then I deepened the shadows with my Prismas. Even the sky and grass is colored with copics.

As you can see I have not used any foam adhesive on this card, it is totally flat.

I added few white accents using my white gel pen and deepened the black color with my black gel pen. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black cardstock and adhered directly to the colored panel, the colored panel itself is adhered on a black cardstock which is adhered to a white card base.

I really enjoyed making this card, it was so relaxing, and taking the pics for the blog post was even more fun. Hope you liked my card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
