Warm Happy Thoughts

Hello hello hello!!!

I got my hands on the brand new stamps from Paperie Ink Stamps (Oh they are so cute!!) And I played with the cute elephant from Tons Of Thoughts; here is my card...

I colored this cutie with copics and added some dots for some interest. The background is created using distress ink. This is me first time playing with the blending tool and it was a disaster. I wanted to give a very soft and subtle blue background hinting as sky behind the elephant but the tool left so many harsh lines; is it because its a new foam.. I don't know what it was.. I did not like how it turned out so I hid the most yucky area with the elephant. ;)
I used some sequins for embellishment and stamped the sentiment with black Memento ink, the design paper is from Lawn Fawn.

Here is a close up:

Hope you like him too as much as I do, you can check the shop here.

Our Daily Bread Design Blog Hop

Hello friends, welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs and CardMaker blog hop.
I made a simple a CAS card for today‘s hop using some amazing new products from Our Daily Bread Designs.

To create this card I used Metallic's design paper and die cut ornaments using Delightful Decorations dies and for the inner part I used red glitter cardstock and the solid ornament die; this die set comes in three one solid and two designed ornaments. The glittered ornament is adhered directly to the card base and the designed ornament is adhered using foam squares. I also tied bakers twine to the ornament. The sentiment is from Christmas Tunes set and is stamped using memento love letter ink.

Sunny Studio Stamps & CardMaker Blog Hop

Hello friends, today we are having an extra special blog hop; Our very own Mendi Yoshikawa has started a stamp company called Sunny Studio and designers from both CardMaker and Sunny Studio Stamps are joining together for a fun hop...
Here is my card for you today...

I got to play with this super cute set called Snow Kissed, love the adorable penguins in the set.
To create my card: First I took a blue cardstock and die-cut an oval from the center; then stamped the snow using all the tiny stamps in the set, I used watermark pigment ink to stamp the snows and embossed it using white embossing powder. I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the blue cardstock and then die cut same size oval out of foam sheet and adhere that as well to the back of blue panel; I added some clear sequins and silver glitter powder in the window and adhere it to a white A2 card base, before adhering the card base I added a subtle blue background using distress inks and also added some snow using white liquid pearl.
Here is a close up..

The penguin and ice-glacier is stamped on Crafters Companion white cardstock and colored using Copics; fuzzy cut it out and adhered using foam squares. As a last touch I added glossy accents to penguins beak and some glitter to hat, scarf and glacier. The sentiment is stamped on the blue panel using watermark ink and embossed using silver embossing powder before adhering it to the card base.

Now the fun part.. The amazing Mendi is offering a discount to all you amazing readers out there... You can use the coupon code “CARDMAKER” when ordering to receive 20% off your order through Saturday, 11/14/15, noon PST.

Then took recollections 100lb white panel and colored the panel using distress ink and foam blender. BOOYAH

Hello friends, I am playing along with The Daily Marker 30 Day challenge on Instagram and today I did some no-line coloring on these cute monsters from Simon Says Stamp "Monster Hugs"

I took a white panel and die-cut it using an oval die and then worked on the oval die-cut; first I did some ink sponging on the background for a spooky sky (don't ask me what colors I used, I don't remember :D ). Then I used grass die from Lawn Fawn, and the stars and moon dies are from Top Dog Dies. The grass and stars are directly adhered the oval die. The monsters and moon is added using foam squares.
I adhered the negative panel to a white card base using foam dots and then inlaid the oval die in place, which is adhered using a less dimensional foam tape.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn which is stamped using watermark ink and embossed using white embossing powder, and adhered using foam squares.
Finally I added glossy accents to the monsters eyes and lots of glitter. Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my card. I really had fun coloring the monsters and creating this card.

Lil' Inker Designs & CardMaker Blog Hop

Hello friends, we are having a blog hop with the super amazing Lil' Inker Designs. I am super excited to have a chance to play with their products!!!
We were asked to create any occasion card using fall colors showcasing their amazing products.

I made two cards for the hop today, here is my 1st card:

I used distress inks and water colored some fall colors (olive green, fired brick, ripe persimmon, scattered straw) and colored few strips of Tim Holtz water color paper.
The images are from Perfect Pair stamp set which is stamped on Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock and colored them using copics.
I glued all the water colored strips directly on a white card base , I also glued some strips of gold foil cardstock from DCWV; the colored images are adhered using foam squares. I die cut the alphabets from a red cardstock using Mixed and Stitched Alphabet Die Set and adhered that also using foam squares.

I added some glitter to all the images, here is a close up:

And here is my 2nd card:

First I took Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock and stamped the coffee cups from Coffee Talk Stamp set using MFT black licorice waterproof ink, I masked the coffee cup in the front to stamp the cups in the back; I used Hero Arts watercolor wheel to color the whole image. Once everything was dry I did some layered die cutting; using Mixed and Stitched Alphabet Die Set first I die cut the words from the water colored panel then die cut the word from four separate scraps of white cardstock. This created four exact cuts which I then adhered together to create a thick, chipboard-like embellishment for dimension
Here is a close up:

I added lots of glitter to the image and added sequins for embellishment.

Hope you liked my card.
Lil' Inker Designs Stamps is offering a $35 gift certificate to one lucky winner. To enter for your chance to win, all you need to do is comment on each blog in the hop!!

Happy Haunting

Hello friends, I have a last card for Top Dog Dies, to share with you.

I got to play with the new Haunted House Die Set and this is my favorite card of all really had fun making this card.

I started with sponging a white piece of cardstock using some distress inks (spiced marmalade, fired brick, seedless preserve and faded jeans); for the moon I masked the area with a circle die-cut piece of paper before adding any colors. Then I die-cut all the pieces out of black cardstock, and the piece behind the house is die-cut out of yellow cardstock (all the cardstocks are from recollections). I glued the hill, fence and bats directly to the panel and the haunted house and tombs are adhered using foam squares.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. Here is a close up:

Thank You so much for the opportunity!!! I really really enjoyed playing with the new Fall/Halloween dies, it was such a pleasure guest designing!! :)
